Suggestions for your Day

We would like to wish you both every happiness on your Wedding Day and in your future together.

From our experience you will gain the greatest joy and satisfaction from your Wedding Ceremony if you take note of the following suggestions.

Keeping to Appointed Time: Please make every effort to be on time, remember your Celebrant may have another Ceremony to perform, and there may also be another wedding in the garden after yours. We do allow approximately 2 hours between each wedding party.

Celebrants Arrival Time: Your celebrant will usually arrive 15 minutes prior to your ceremony starting in order to check any final details.

Music: To enhance your Ceremony suitable music will be played during your guests arrival. We like the Bride and Groom to select something special for the Bride to walk in to and whilst signing the official papers. Music is also played during your photograph session.

Seating: Some seating is available for people unable to stand throughout the ceremony. We have a large array of seating in shady spots throughout the garden. We also have ‘Americana’ chairs available for hire.

Undercover: We have a large undercover area with ceiling fans for hot and/or rainy days, chairs and seat high walling for your guests comfort. A good plan B in case of inclement weather.

Supervision of Children: Due to the extensive variety of plants with thorns and the water features in the garden, we ask that you inform your guests of the need to adequately supervise children at all times.

Gazebo: Choice of two gazeboes on different levels for your ceremony or for photographs.

Rehearsals: A rehearsal fee is applicable.

Signing of Official Papers: A wrought iron table and chair is available for the signing of these papers. Throwing of confetti is not permitted. Rose petals and rice are acceptable and may be thrown in the garden.

Toilet: An outside toilet is available for your guests and any nervous grooms!

Garden Ambiance: We have a waterfall, fountain, fantail doves and dovecotes to add to the atmosphere of your wedding. Also great for photographs.

Drinks: You are most welcome to bring some drinks with you into the garden. This is usually a good idea if you are having photographs taken after the ceremony, and/or if the weather is particularly warm. We can supply soft drinks and water at a nominal cost.

Wheelchair Access: Access is available for persons in wheelchairs.
